Real Estate Notary

Baro RH is looking for a real estate notary with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join a reputable firm in Montreal, known for its human and collaborative approach. You will be responsible for overseeing real estate transactions, drafting notarial deeds, and advising our clients on real estate-related matters. Your expertise will help ensure smooth transactions while maintaining exemplary customer service. • Draft and notarize deeds of sale, mortgages, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding the legal aspects of real estate transactions.
• Assess and manage legal risks associated with real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with real estate agents, lawyers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper execution of transactions.
• Follow up on files and maintain trusting relationships with clients throughout the process.
• Participate in discussions and team meetings to improve work practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Law degree and a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar or the Quebec Chamber of Notaries.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law and notarial practice.
• Excellent command of laws and regulations related to real estate transactions.
• Communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to solve problems effectively.
• Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
