Overview of the role: The Node Developer position requires a problem solver who combines experience, knowledge, and independence to tackle complex tasks. This role involves architecting backend systems, implementing features at a rapid pace, and contributing to the development of scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and developing robust, efficient, and secure backend systems using Node.js and relevant technologies. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and delivering high-quality results on time. • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends and best practices. • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and escalating complex problems to senior developers or other stakeholders as needed. • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools, and applying this knowledge to improve processes and deliver better results. • Working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionality. • Participating in regular code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. What we're looking for: • 3+ years of experience as a Node.js developer, with a strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and related technologies. • Proficiency in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Node.js and relevant technologies. • Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other data exchange formats. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment. • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
