Night Nurse (RGN)

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medical care and support to residents, including administering medications, performing routine checks and providing emotional support. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care, and contributing to the development of care plans that meet individual resident needs. You'll be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and other healthcare professionals. You'll also be expected to stay up to date with the latest developments in nursing practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of our care services.
