New Construction Mechanic

Are you technically strong, do you enjoy working with the latest trucks, and are you looking for a job with a lot of variety? Then this position as a New Construction Mechanic in Utrecht is really for you! In this role, you will work daily on building, preparing for delivery, and adapting new Volvo and Renault trucks. No day is the same, and you will ensure that every truck leaves the workshop perfectly.
As a New Construction Mechanic, you will be involved in, among other things:
- Building and adapting new trucks;
- Mounting accessories such as lighting, warning lights, air horns, and car kits;
- Performing light construction work;
- Adapting chassis and other parts based on customer wishes;
- Testing lighting, accessories, and safety features;
- Registering work performed and materials used;
- Preparing new vehicles for delivery.

- A very good salary between €2,800 and €3,800 (depending on your work experience). You will be rewarded based on performance;

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic technician with a passion for commercial vehicles. You work accurately, think solution-oriented, and like to get things done.
In addition, we ask for:
- A completed education in Commercial Vehicle Technology or equivalent;
- Experience with electrical work;
- Experience with preparing trucks or commercial vehicles for delivery;
- Technical insight and a structured approach;
- Willingness to occasionally work standby, evening, and Saturday shifts;
- Driver's license B (CE is a plus).
