New Product Introduction Engineer

Job Description THE ROLE: As a New Product Introduction Engineer, you will drive product cost through Yield improvement, quality with test content and test points design, and product definition/bounding box development. You will work closely with world class Product Test, Design, Quality, Reliability, Customer, Software and Platform global teams to plan and develop the final product solution to meet KPI targets. With close collaboration with end customer, you will also have insights into the product requirements and needs and influence the design teams to deliver the optimal product. You will also coordinate and lead all internal and external resources in support of customer product development. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and maintain NPI process, flows, and documentation. * Lead cross-functional teams to ensure new product introduction success. * Drive product cost reduction through yield improvement, test content, and design. * Manage product definition and bounding box development. * Collaborate with Product Test, Design, Quality, Reliability, Customer, Software and Platform teams. * Develop and execute product introduction plans. * Identify and mitigate risks associated with product introduction. * Track and report on product introduction progress. * Participate in design reviews and provide feedback. * Ensure product meets customer requirements. * Coordinate and lead internal and external resources. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in product engineering or a related field. * Experience with new product introduction processes. * Strong understanding of product development cycle. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience with yield improvement and test content design. * Experience with product definition and bounding box development. * Knowledge of customer requirements and needs. * Familiarity with product test, design, quality, and reliability processes. * Experience with software and platform development. * Ability to travel as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Experience with specific products or technologies relevant to the company. * Project management certification.
