New Product Development - Packaging Manufacturing

RPO Recruitment is excited to be seeking a creative and experienced New Product Development professional to join our client's team in the Packaging Manufacturing industry. As a New Product Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and launching innovative packaging solutions for our clients.

• Lead the end-to-end product development process for packaging solutions, from concept ideation to commercialization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new packaging trends and opportunities
• Develop product concepts and prototypes that meet customer requirements and market demands
• Create and maintain detailed product specifications and documentation
• Test and evaluate packaging materials and components to ensure quality, durability, and functionality
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project goals and deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies in packaging
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate packaging materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in new product development in the Packaging Manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
• Experience in conducting market research and trend analysis
• Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Creative thinking and a passion for innovation
