Network Specialist in Customer Service (m/w/d) Fiber Optic and Telecommunications Environment

As a Network Specialist (m/w/d) in the telecommunications sector, you ensure a stable and highly available network operation, maximize customer satisfaction through proactive monitoring and rapid problem-solving, and continuously optimize the necessary effort.

Tasks

• Maintenance of customer disturbances and technical disturbance handling by phone and email
• Interface management and control of external service providers and the Entstörservice
• Customer ticket maintenance, control, and processing
• Escalation management
• Participation in continuous improvement of service quality and optimization of internal and external processes
• Creation of IT requirement documents
• Ownership and maintenance of installed toolings

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of training in the field of telecommunications, broadband / carrier networks or comparable vocational training such as IT specialist with a focus on network
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Experience in self-responsible disturbance elimination in TK networks
• Good knowledge and understanding of network structures in TK services, focusing on IP, VDSL, GPON, and SIP
• Process and documentation knowledge for IT requirement management, database, and Linux basics
• Outstanding communication skills and problem-solving orientation as well as the ability to make balanced decisions
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking, English Level B2 desired
