Photonics Network Manager (m/w/d)

What tasks can you expect from us?

• Identification of technology and market potential, as well as creation of potential and trend analyses
• Counseling our customers on the initiation and design of innovative projects
• Development and implementation of funding concepts for innovation projects
• Building, developing, and actively steering innovation networks in the photonics sector
• Networking companies, research institutions, and other partners along the value chain
• Moderation and conduct of workshops, network meetings, and expert events
• Pursuing, accompanying, and coordinating cooperation projects – from idea to project completion
• Creating convincing presentations and representing the network and company externally

What do you ideally bring with you?

• A completed degree in physics (Master's or Ph.D.), preferably with a focus on photonics or optical technologies
  (alternatively: comparable natural scientific-technical qualification)
• Interest in future technologies and the interface between research and application
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (negotiation-safe)
• Pleasure in networking and collaboration with different stakeholders
• Analytical thinking, organizational skill, and structured work approach
• Eagerness for new ideas, hands-on mentality, and enthusiasm for developing new concepts
• Safe, reliable appearance and strong team player
• Ideal candidates have first experiences in project management, technology transfer, or network/cluster work
• Even enthusiastic newcomers with high learning readiness are welcome
