Network Architect / OT Network Consultant (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Network Architect / OT Network Consultant (m/f/d) at the Munich location or hybrid as soon as possible.

Your tasks

• You conceive, plan, and optimize industrial network and communication architectures for our customers.
• You advise customers on the selection, design, and implementation of network and fieldbus solutions in the OT environment.
• You analyze existing network landscapes and develop concepts for improving performance, availability, and scalability.
• You create architecture and migration concepts, taking into account redundancy, security, and availability requirements.
• You support the selection of suitable technologies and components as well as technical decision-making processes.
• You act as a technical contact person for customers, project teams, and stakeholders, and accompany projects from conception to implementation.

Your profile

• You are a communicative team player with a consulting personality and high technical expertise.

• You have profound knowledge of industrial communication and fieldbus protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN Bus, ProfiNet, or comparable technologies.

• You bring experience in planning and evaluating network architectures and are familiar with the technical and economic requirements of modern OT infrastructures.

• You have profound knowledge in the following areas:

  • Network segmentation
  • Redundancy protocols
  • Multimode and single-mode fiber optic technologies
  • Network limitations and performance aspects
  • Cost and economic considerations

• You can confidently take on both the role of a technical architect and that of a consultant to customers.

• You possess strong analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Language proficiency: German C1, English B2

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Industrial Ethernet networks and OT/IT convergence.
• Knowledge of network security concepts in industrial environments.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, IEC 62443, or comparable qualifications.
• Experience in the fields of automation technology, production facilities, or critical infrastructures.
