The Position

You want to take on responsibility in a modern IT environment and further develop your technical skills?

As a Network and System Administrator, you will be part of our administrator team and support the Linux server infrastructure of our mid-sized customers, as well as firewalls and switches in our DC backbone. The systems are integrated into our central monitoring and are primarily remote-controlled – occasional on-site visits to the data center or office are also possible. Together with your team, you will ensure smooth operation, optimize existing infrastructures, and actively contribute to their further development.

Tasks

Your Tasks

• Administration of Linux server systems as well as relevant third-party solutions
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of firewalls (OPNsense, Sophos) and network equipment (Cisco, UniFi)
• Analyze, monitor, and optimize the systems
• Processing and coordination of tickets, change requests, and projects
• Participation in expanding and further developing our infrastructure

Qualification

Your Profile

• Experience working with Linux server systems
• Safe handling of networks, IP, TCP/UDP, and common VPN protocols
• Knowledge in managing firewalls and segmenting networks
• Pleasure and high personal interest in dealing with IT systems
• Good language skills in German and English
• Passion for IT systems as well as self-motivation and team spirit
• Careful working style with a high sense of responsibility
• Bonus: At least one year of practical experience in the mentioned areas
