You ensure the stable and secure operation of a future-oriented cantonal network infrastructure. Focus on WLAN / Routing / Switching

Your impact: Creating stable networks that reliably connect administration and population

• Maintenance, operation, and continuous expansion of the cantonal network infrastructure
• Configuration and operation of all active network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxy servers, load balancers, WLAN, and VPN systems
• Monitoring of the network and system landscape using network management systems regarding availability, security, and performance
• Operation and further development of DNS-, DHCP-, IP-address management-, and RADIUS-server infrastructure
• Second-level support in the area of cantonal networks as well as remote access
• Participation in projects as a specialist from planning to implementation
• Carrying out maintenance work at off-peak hours as well as participation in the on-call duty

Your profile: Analytically strong, solution-oriented, and team-oriented

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education
• Several years of professional experience in computer science, including at least two years as a network specialist
• Add-on training in the area of Cisco networks (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, or comparable certifications)
• Very good analytical skills and a well-developed understanding for practical, sustainable solutions
• Open, team-oriented, and communicative personality with high self-responsibility
• Precise, structured, and independent working style

Sie supports the Landeskanzlei, the directorates, and the courts in implementing their tasks efficiently, economically, and effectively through digitalization and automation.

The performance spectrum includes the implementation of cross-directorate digitalization projects, ensuring IT basic services, providing business applications, and managing information security.
