Network Administration

The Projektron GmbH develops and markets the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. To support our more than 820 customers worldwide and continuously develop our software, we rely on over 130 employees at five locations in Germany.

We are currently looking for a part-time or full-time employee to join our IT administration team at our headquarters in Berlin.

Tasks

• Maintenance of over 130 employees distributed across five locations in Germany
• IT environment: Modern infrastructure with multiple VM clusters (over 230 VMs, Windows/Linux) connected to a SAN infrastructure
• Planning, provision, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, services, and systems
• Ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and services
• Guaranteeing IT security
• Evaluation, configuration, and implementation of system extensions to cover new requirements
• Organization of IT procurement as well as supplier and resource management

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent training

• Professional experience in the field of system/network administration

• Technical knowledge in the following areas:

• Network & System Management (VLAN, Routing, Switching)

• Network security (Firewall, Network segmentation, Access control)

• Virtualization (VMware)

• Experience in the following areas is advantageous:

• IT security (SIEM, central logging)

• Windows Server or Linux Server (Ubuntu)

• Email services (MS Exchange, Postfix)
