Network Planner (m/w/d) - Battery Energy Storage Systems BESS

In a strong company for renewable energies, which implements solar and wind farms throughout the country, your support is needed to plan mega-battery storage systems (BESS).

As Network Planner (m/w/d), you ensure the electrical and communicative connection of massive battery storage systems (BESS) throughout the country.

In your office in Berlin, you plan and manage new and existing projects to drive forward the vision of a carbon-free future. Since you are responsible for maintaining the nationwide network infrastructure and also serve as a point of contact on site, you should bring flexibility and travel readiness.

Tasks

• You are responsible for planning the technical and communicative connection of battery storage projects.
• You handle the technical and commercial processing of projects from bid preparation to billing.
• You take over project management and the control of internal and external service providers.
• You conduct negotiations with energy suppliers regarding network connection points and communication connections.
• You take over site management for substation, transfer stations, and network infrastructure.
• You attend external meetings as part of the mentioned task spectrum.

Qualification

• Relevant professional experience in network planning in the field of renewable energies, ideally BESS.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management or comparable.
• Experience in controlling external service providers.
• Your sovereign and secure nature makes you a strong negotiating partner.
• You bring flexibility and nationwide travel readiness to the locations.
• You are a team player with high communication skills.
