Your Responsibilities

• analysis of threats in network traffic and identification of attack attempts,
• implementation of attack detection mechanisms and automatic, appropriate remediation,
• implementation, configuration, and optimization of Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and WAF and AntiDDoS solutions,
• creation and development of incident response process automation (e.g., through scripts, playbooks, integration with response tools),
• application of virtual patching techniques to reduce vulnerability risks without altering source code,
• preparation of technical instructions and recommendations for infrastructure teams,
• maintenance of current technical documentation and support for resilience reviews and tests.

Our Requirements

• knowledge of firewall and WAF class systems and the principles of their configuration in hybrid environments (VMware/Azure/GCP),
• knowledge of network incident response techniques and the creation and testing of security policies,
• experience in detecting and analyzing network attacks,
• ability to create automation for response processes (e.g., in Python or shell),
• understanding of the vulnerability lifecycle and methods for their mitigation without affecting application infrastructure,
• practical knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, ISO/OSI layers, routing, switching) and network traffic security,
• additional advantage will be experience working with Linux/Unix systems and knowledge of issues related to segmentation, access control, cryptographic techniques, and VPNs,
• we appreciate CEH, MAD, or similar certifications
