Network & Systems Administrator

VEO is looking for a Network & Systems Administrator to strengthen our IT Infrastructure team in Bucharest!
In this role, you'll be a key player in maintaining and optimizing our enterprise network and server infrastructure.

What we're looking for:
Strong experience in networking (minimum 2 years)
Solid knowledge of Linux systems (basic admin, scripting, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with Windows environments, server virtualization, PowerShell
Experience with backup tools, network security and system monitoring
English: minimum B2 level; French: A2–B1;
Organized, analytical, autonomous and team-oriented

What you'll be doing:
Administer and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, VPNs, wireless)
Maintain structured cabling, telecom systems, remote access, and connectivity protocols
Perform system-monitoring, backups, patches, upgrades — across Linux and Windows servers
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity issues
Handle system capacity planning and performance tuning
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on projects and escalations
Track and manage requests via GLPI, ensuring SLA compliance
Provide prompt and professional IT support to internal users
