The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with solid experience in designing, configuring, and implementing network security solutions, capable of creating a robust architecture to protect the IT infrastructure against complex cyber threats. The role is assimilated to a Subject Matter Expert position in network security.
You will work closely with the networking, network security, and IT teams to develop and optimize firewall and next-generation firewall (NGFW) solutions, utilizing advanced technologies.
Requirements:
Solid experience and technical skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing network security solutions, particularly in configuring firewalls and NGFWs.
Practical experience with network security technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, CheckPoint, Juniper, Imperva, Radware, etc.
Advanced networking and security knowledge:
Advanced skills in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec).
Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and data protection technologies.
Analytical and problem-solving skills:
Ability to quickly and effectively analyze threats and propose viable solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, and training of network security solutions:
Creating security architecture for complex networks, ensuring correct segmentation and protection of data networks.
Configuring and optimizing firewall and NGFW solutions, applying advanced security rules to control access and prevent threats.
Provide technical support to pre-sales and sales teams to meet partner requirements with the best technical solutions.
Provide technical information necessary for the preparation of special offers, allocating the necessary technical resources for these activities.
Offer support to the presales team in conducting PoCs or complex demonstrations at client sites.
Provide advanced-level training to partners/clients.
Update on software and hardware products distributed by the company, using vendor documentation, specialized reports, the Internet, etc., as sources.
Compliance and alignment with security standards:
Applying best security practices and compliance with international and local standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, GDPR, as well as national IT security regulations.
