Job Description EXp - 5 to 8 years Role: L2 Engineer (Client Location) – Network Security Engineer This position is responsible for day-to-day administration of network firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load balancers (LLBSLB) and proxy systems designed to protect networks and systems from malicious/unauthorized network access or misuse. He/she ensures all the Business-Critical Systems are monitored, identify possible escalations and notify/seek assistance from track lead. Follow all the process and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the network. This includes monitoring network logs, identifying potential security threats, and implementing corrective actions to prevent or mitigate security incidents. The engineer will also be responsible for conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks. He/she will work closely with the security team to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. This role requires strong understanding of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network security architectures. He/she will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of all security-related activities, including incident response and security audits. He/she will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices, and will be able to apply this knowledge to improve the security posture of the organization. This role is a critical component of the organization's overall security strategy, and the engineer will be expected to work closely with other teams to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's systems and data. This is a full-time position, and the engineer will be expected to work a standard 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.
