Network & IT Support Field Technician

A consumer service management and rating platform offering wireless IoT solutions for customer feedback, surveys, and queue management systems is looking for a Network & IT Support Field Technician to join their team as they grow and expand their footprint. Their real-time data helps businesses monitor customer satisfaction, staff performance, and in-store operations through powerful cloud-based analytics.

:

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
• 5+ years field experience
• Matric and relevant short courses
• Strong IT & IoT technical support skills
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues
• Proficient in Google Workspace and reporting software
• Comfortable working in-office
• Willing to travel to client sites as needed
• Occasional travel (2–3 days every 1–2 months)

:

• Install, configure, and maintain IoT devices and network systems on client sites
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
• Support computer hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Use call-out/site visit software for reporting and documentation
  
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth deployments and service delivery
• Provide in-office support when not on site
• Ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions
