Job description
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Network & Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of critical technical projects, manage network operations, and ensure the smooth functioning of infrastructure and client systems. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with local and global teams to implement, maintain, and optimize IT and network systems. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Lead or participate in technical projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Ensure the integrity and security of network systems, monitoring for potential issues and implementing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide technical guidance and support to end-users. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, guides, and training materials. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve network and infrastructure operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in network and infrastructure operations, with a focus on IT and network systems. Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with network management tools, such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
