Network & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

For this key role, we are looking for a personality who not only operates IT infrastructures and networks but also actively develops them further and sets technical standards.

• You will be responsible for the operation and further development of the network infrastructure at our locations in Germany
• You will administer firewalls, VPN connections, switching, routing, and VLAN environments
• You will analyze and resolve complex network and infrastructure faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
• You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of the network landscape
• You will manage central infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and certificate management
• You will plan and implement infrastructure and network projects, such as site connections, migrations, or system introductions
• You will work with external service providers and ensure compliance with defined standards and SLAs
• You will document the environment and continuously develop operational processes

• Completed vocational training with an IT focus
• Several years of professional IT experience (preferably 5+ years) in operating IT infrastructures with a focus on networks
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
• Experience in network monitoring and analysis of complex faults
• Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and basic Windows Server and Active Directory structures
• Experience with hybrid IT infrastructures and virtualized environments (ideally VMware)
• Knowledge of modern IT security concepts
• Structured, solution-oriented approach combined with proactivity and team spirit

• Location near the Speicherstadt in Hamburg
