We are looking for Datacom Network Support Engineers for our Global Technical Assistance Center.

Our teams provide 1st party vendor support, not project-based, which means you will have the opportunity for a longtime collaboration.

Whether you are a seasoned expert, or at the beginning of your career, or even looking to change domains; if you have what it takes, we want to meet you!

Mandatory requirements for current vacancies are proficiency in a second international language (B2 or higher) from either German, French or Spanish, and having the basis for growth, either from similar experience or relevant courses.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer service requests from all Europe for our Datacom Network products (Routers, Switches, Firewalls & Security Gateways, WLAN devices and more);
  • Take first corrective actions to isolate and neutralize reported incidents and if necessary, escalate to a specialized support level;
  • Troubleshoot hardware or software problems, identify the root cause and provide an effective solution within contractual SLA time;
  • Provide detailed information on how to set up, configure or upgrade IP products and their features;
  • Use ticketing systems for tracking customer communication, case progress, and fault analysis;
  • Identify customers concerns and critical problems based on customer interaction.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English & a second language from German, French or Spanish (B2 or higher level);
  • Familiar with TCP/IP & OSI protocol stacks;
  • Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS);
  • Knowledge of switching technologies and protocols (VLANs, STP);
  • Knowledge of security features and protocols (IPSec, NAT, Radius/TACACS, Dot1x);
  • Knowledge of network monitoring applications and protocols (SNMP, NMS);
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking (ability to understand underlying issues, determine the appropriate analysis steps, analyze debug outputs and packet captures);
  • Work experience in network/telecommunication or similar roles is preferred.
