We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (Nexus/ACI) – L3 with deep hands-on expertise in Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure). The selected candidate will act as a Resident Engineer, responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Nexus and ACI environments to ensure seamless network performance and reliability across enterprise data centers.

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco ACI fabrics for data center and enterprise environments.

• Integrate ACI with external devices such as firewalls, load balancers, and virtualization platforms.

• Implement advanced features like VXLAN EVPN, Service Graphs, Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MLAG), VMM Domain, and Fabric Path.

• Ensure proper integration with existing infrastructure during new deployments.

• Monitor and manage Cisco Nexus/ACI environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive maintenance.

• Utilize Python, Ansible, and REST APIs for network automation within ACI environments.

• Troubleshoot Nexus and ACI hardware/software issues and ensure timely resolution.

• Provide L3-level technical support for complex network incidents.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective measures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting infrastructure or business operations.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies.

• Implement ACI-based segmentation, access control policies, and other security best practices.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

• Provide regular reports on network health, incidents, and performance metrics.

• Stay current with emerging Cisco ACI and Nexus features, recommending upgrades and improvements where needed.

• Total Experience: 6+ years, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing Cisco Nexus/ACI environments.

• Experience managing large-scale data center networks for a minimum of 1 year.

• Strong understanding of data center technologies including Software-Defined Networking (SDN).

• Solid knowledge of Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRF, and L3Out.

• Expertise with Cisco Nexus family (7000, 5000, 9000 series) and ACI APIC Controllers.

• Proficiency with tools such as Wireshark, NDB, NetFlow, and other network monitoring tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (or equivalent experience).

• Cisco CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, or Cisco Certified ACI Specialist.

• Knowledge of EIGRP, MPLS, and other data center protocols is a plus.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within deadlines.

• Willingness to travel and provide on-site support as per business needs.

• Flexibility for after-hours or weekend maintenance activities when required.

• Deep understanding of networking and switching fundamentals.

• Experience in configuring and maintaining ACI/Nexus environments.

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
