Job description

We're seeking a hands-on Network/Technical Analyst to support the technology environment across multiple venues. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing daily operational support with project-based work across infrastructure, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity.

You'll work closely with the Head of IT to ensure stable, secure, and scalable systems that support a growing and technology-enabled organisation.

Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Networking
  • Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall systems.
  • Support and configure Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
  • Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across on-premise and cloud systems.
  • Assist in system upgrades, patching, and hardware lifecycle management.
Cyber Security
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts in alignment with frameworks (Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement remediation activities.
  • Support security audits and contribute to risk management plans.
Cloud & Transformation
  • Provide support for cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure) and assist in cloud migration projects.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation — including network diagrams, DR plans, and system configurations.
  • Contribute to automation, monitoring, and system improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues.
  • Communicate clearly with non-technical users and external vendors.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely customer support across venues.
Collaboration & Culture
  • Balance BAU and project work while maintaining excellent service delivery.
  • Share knowledge within the IT team to foster continuous improvement.
  • Maintain professionalism and presentation consistent with organisational standards.
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in infrastructure, networking, or technical support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, DNS).
  • Exposure to Linux systems, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), and automation tools (Ansible).
  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Why Join
  • Work across a diverse and engaging environment — no two days are the same.
  • Partner with a supportive IT leader who values growth, collaboration, and autonomy.
  • Be part of a business modernising its infrastructure and uplift in technology maturity.
