That’s exactly what our network engineers ensure—from rack switches and firewalls to our core routers, forming the foundation of our bare-metal Kubernetes infrastructure. Here’s what you can expect from us:

• Software meets hardware: You’ll configure, automate, and—from time to time—even get your hands dirty with the hardware in the data center
• Thinking ahead in architecture: You’ll further develop our network architecture while keeping an eye on current technologies and future requirements
• Implementing Projects: You’ll plan projects independently and collaboratively with the team, and execute them meticulously. For example, we’ve already developed our own DDoS mitigation stack, connected colocation PoPs, and built a new network infrastructure for our cloud platform
• Operations & Troubleshooting: You’ll maintain documentation and monitoring systems and get to the root of any issues
• Thinking Outside the Box: You’ll collaborate with external service providers and attend conferences to bring back new ideas

What You Bring to the Table:

• You have solid hands-on experience with network infrastructures, ideally in a data center or service provider environment, and are proficient in routing with BGP, OSPF, and technologies such as EVPN-VXLAN
• Security is second nature to you and a subject you’re passionate about: You’re well-versed in network segmentation and firewalling
• You enjoy automation and have Python skills to simplify configuration and operations through code
• You’re proficient with Linux tools and common monitoring solutions
• You’re a die-hard techie with a genuine passion for networks, and you dig deep into tricky problems until you find the root cause
• We can count on you, your word, and your work—because reliability starts with you
• You enjoy working as an equal on a team and sharing your knowledge, whether it’s a deep dive or a casual technical chat

Nice to have: Experience with Kubernetes environments on bare metal
