Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Kil metro 1, Carretera Campo Militar, Quer taro, Quer taro

Duration: Approximately 1 month, with potential extension based on project needs

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM local time, with some remote work flexibility

Rate: $35 - $40/hr on W2

Overview:

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the transition and setup of IT infrastructure at two operations in Mexico. This role involves on-site work to facilitate the installation and configuration of network equipment and computers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Setup: Receive and set up 15 laptops and a desktops, ensuring they are powered up, imaged, and ready for deployment.
• Network Installation: Physically install Meraki routers, switches, and access points, connecting them to the wide area network.
• Collaboration: Work with corporate IT teams in Tennessee for remote setup and programming of network devices.
• Transition Support: Assist in transitioning from legacy Cisco equipment to Meraki, aligning with company standards.
• Domain Integration: Ensure all devices are joined to the domain and establish connectivity.

Qualifications:

• Basic technical skills sufficient for imaging laptops and setting up network equipment.
• Familiarity with Meraki and Cisco network devices, with direct experience installing Meraki equipment.
• Ability to work independently on-site and coordinate with remote teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role involving network setup and device imaging.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and device management.

Additional Information:

• This position requires on-site presence in Mexico, with some tasks potentially performed remotely.
• The role may extend beyond the initial month depending on project requirements and costs.
