Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage all levels of network alarms, ensuring swift resolution.
• Create and resolve incident tickets while adhering to SLAs.
• Conduct fault management and troubleshooting to maintain network integrity.
• Plan, create, and implement change requests and tickets.
• Provide support for on-site technicians, assisting with troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements of network and infrastructure elements.
• Monitor and report on network performance to ensure optimal operation.
• Integrate and configure network elements and services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network processes and configurations.

Requirements:

• Experience in NOC/SOC with a solid understanding of SLAs and KPIs.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and ticketing tools.
• Strong grasp of networking concepts at CCNA/CCNP level.
• Familiarity with service provider architecture and infrastructure.
• Fluency in English (C1-C2) and German (B2).

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Linux and experience with FTTx and xDSL networks.
• Understanding of optical networks and MPLS/IP.
• Experience with Nokia SR, OLT, DSLAM, and microwave technology.
• Proficiency in network automation using bash or Python.
