NETWORK AND SECURITY ENGINEER

For an international company operating in the IT and technology sector we are looking for a Network and Security Engineer Key Responsibilities - Provide operational support: handle incidents, service requests, and routine tasks. - Participate in infrastructure projects: modernization, upgrades, and cloud integrations. - Design and implement automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tools. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and VPN solutions. - Manage SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and wireless environments (including Cisco Meraki). - Conduct in-depth network analysis and resolve complex connectivity issues. - Support monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement of infrastructure tools. - Ensure security compliance and documentation in line with ITIL/ITSM practices. Profile Requirements - Experience: 3+ years in large enterprise or complex networking environments. - Networking: Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE; HP ProCurve, Aruba, Ubiquiti. - Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS. - Core protocols: DNS, DHCP, HTTP Proxy, WLAN, RADIUS. - Firewalls: Palo Alto (design, config, troubleshooting). - Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, OCI. - Automation: Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines. - SD-WAN and VPN deployment and maintenance. - Certifications: CCNP R&S (mandatory); AWS certification (a plus). - Languages: Fluent in English; any other European language is an advantage.
