Job Description
We are looking for a strong and communicative .NET developer to manage and further develop several applications, including STAMViewer, REN. BZK_PKI, AVG. The developer must work with the (solution architect, if necessary, and) other developers on refinement, design, planning, and realization of functional wishes from business (product owner). Daily tasks include designing and developing software and performing management activities. With your knowledge and skills, you are able to:

• You participate in projects and take over projects for management;

• You build small but also complex changes to the applications you manage and build new applications

• You analyze production problems and solve them, either alone or in collaboration with other DICTU departments;

• You document the applications and environment;

• You analyze where your applications are, proactively maintaining them can be done;

• You ensure that .net updates and upgrades are made to your application, so it is always up-to-date;

• You keep your field of expertise up to date through self-study and continuing education, so you are always aware of the latest techniques;

• You are proactive and initiator of everything that needs to happen around the application you manage; you coordinate small but sometimes larger matters; for this, you maintain active contacts with the client, functional management, technical management, test & review, and external parties and other divisions;

• You give advice to product owners, delivery managers, project managers, and team leaders;

• You are the connector between teams to make work as optimal as possible;

• You are researching in your field of expertise for innovations in technology, and you use this where possible.

Background Job

The STAMViewer is a spin in the web between the national provision Digital System Environmental Act and the case systems of our clients. There is a large backlog with new features, life cycle management, and unification of legacy systems. On the applications REN and BZK_PKI, management and further development will take place. For AVG, a large front-end replacement is planned. Work will be done from home and on location in The Hague with occasional meetings in Utrecht.

• .NET and experience with ASP.Net, C#.Net, .Net Framework, Visual Studio, and SQL-Server. REACT, Knock-out.JS
• Several years of demonstrable experience in application development
• Several years of demonstrable experience in system development
• Several years of demonstrable experience with application management
• Demonstrable experience with Front-End development in REACT (>5-7 years)
• The job is not suitable for ZZPers due to the Wet DBA.
• Academic work and thinking level through a completed HBO/university education (>5 years)
• You have demonstrable work experience with managing, documenting, and further developing web-based and service-oriented enterprise systems, .NET applications ASPNet C#Net Net Framework Visual Studio, and SQL-Server, and with development processes such as Scrum Agile and TDD
• You have experience working within government ICT organizations in the last 3 years (>3 years)
• You can as a developer spar with developers and regularly contact the client/order giver
• You have experience with (>3 years) further developing and managing multiple applications simultaneously

• You have knowledge of working with quality standards for code such as coding guidelines, unit tests, etc.
• You have demonstrable experience with developing .NET applications and working with Azure DevOps
• You have demonstrable experience with working in Agile teams (including the usual ceremonies)
