.Net Developer (m/w/x)

The VertiGIS Group develops software solutions for Geographic Information Systems (GIS). We are a leading solution provider in the fields of energy supply, water management, land management, authorities, infrastructure, facility management, and telecommunications. Our products help companies, networks, facilities, and processes to plan, manage, and optimize efficiently – worldwide in daily use.

You will be part of our development department and continuously develop our software products. You will work in agile teams on solutions that are productive worldwide.

The main tasks of the position include:

Software Development & Design

• Further development of existing ASP.NET application using C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Extension and optimization of existing .NET MAUI apps

• Implementation and connection to internal and external systems

Integration & Quality Assurance

• Creation and maintenance of unit tests to ensure high test coverage

• Development according to Clean-Code principles

• Maintenance of automated build and release pipelines

• Formulation of test hints and submission to the QA department

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Participation in a cross-functional Scrum team

• Participation in regular retrospectives and active shaping of improvement measures

• Technical analysis and cost estimation of product requirements

All knowledge does not need to be fully present – missing knowledge will be built up during a structured onboarding process.

• Degree in computer science, economics, or similar field

• Very good programming skills in C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• In-depth experience with the .NET framework (especially ASP.NET)

• Fundamental knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Windows Server

Desirable but not a must

• Experience in agile project organization (Scrum)

• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks (especially MAUI)

• Industry-specific knowledge: knowledge of Esri, VertiGIS, or CAFM products.

• Experience in handling CAD/BIM and GIS
