Scope of responsibilities • Maintenance and development of existing backend systems in C#/.NET • Development of new functionalities and implementation of changes/CRs • Analysis and fixing of production errors • Development and maintenance of integrations between systems using REST API and Apache Kafka • Work on solutions based on microservices architecture • Work with Oracle and SQL databases • Containerization and work with Docker • Participation in the full lifecycle of a story, from analysis through development to support for tests and deployment • Cooperation with developers, testers, analysts, and other members of the Squad • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment • Maintenance of older components based on .NET Framework 4.8 as well Requirements • Minimum approximately 3 years of commercial experience as a .NET Developer • Very good knowledge of C# and modern .NET, preferably experience with .NET 8+ • Minimum 2 years of experience in banking projects • Practical experience with Apache Kafka in production systems • Very good knowledge of REST API • Practical experience with Docker • Experience in microservices architecture • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably Oracle • Knowledge of good programming practices and SOLID principles • Git • Experience in development and maintenance of existing systems • Fluent knowledge of Polish enabling seamless work in a banking environment • English minimum B2 Nice to have • Experience in payment systems • Projects related to transfers, payments, cards, transactions, or consents • Experience with older .NET Framework 4.8 • Experience in large, integrated banking systems • Work on systems with high transaction volumes About the project The team is responsible for the maintenance and further development of key payment systems in a regulated institution and solutions used in cooperation with external partners. The environment is gradually being modernized. Current .NET solutions remain developed and maintained, while some systems are successively migrated to a new architecture.
