Coop Next New Generation: a managerial development path

Participants will be immediately hired with a permanent contract and will have the opportunity to start their professional journey in one of the strategic areas of consumer cooperatives, including:

• Marketing, Communication, and Member Relations
• Sales Network and Development
• Supply Chain
• Human Resources
• Sustainability and Innovation
• Administration, Finance, and Control
• IT and Organization

Coop Next New Generation was created not only to train professionals in the large-scale retail sector but also individuals capable of interpreting leadership as a responsibility towards the community, aiming to strengthen the bond between young generations and consumer cooperation.

For this reason, Coop has developed a Talent Program dedicated to young recent graduates who wish to build a professional path in a business model that combines sustainability, innovation, attention to people, and the territory.

What the Talent Program involves:

• Second-level University Master's Degree, developed in collaboration with the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, at the Cremona campus, dedicated to training future professionals and managers of consumer cooperatives;
• Acquisition of managerial, strategic, operational, and organizational skills;
• Modules on the culture of consumer cooperatives and the role of retail marketing, innovation, Big Data, design thinking, and artificial intelligence in strategic development and value creation for members and the community;
• Alternation with direct experiences within consumer cooperatives to consolidate acquired skills in the field;
• Retail tour abroad to learn firsthand about the European experience of consumer cooperatives.

What Coop offers:

· Free participation in the Second-level University Master's Degree organized by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart – SMEA, Graduate School of Management and Food Economy, in “Management of Consumer Cooperation”;

The contract includes:

· Collective Agreement: Cooperative Distribution

· Employment Level: Level IV

· Annual Gross Salary: €25,700
