Nautilus is currently recruiting several Java Developers (medior/senior) to join a key partner operating in the public sector in Brussels. Job description As a medior Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality applications in a complex and high-availability environment. Key responsibilities Participate in the design and development of Java-based applications, ensuring high-quality and scalability. Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues. Work closely with the project manager to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Contribute to the improvement of existing applications and the development of new ones. Key requirements Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its ecosystem. Experience with Java-based frameworks and libraries. Proficiency in Agile development methodologies. Strong understanding of software development life cycles. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and tools. Education and certifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications in Java programming language or related technologies. Skills and tools Proficiency in Java 8 and above. Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Java-based frameworks. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
