National Assistant Head Coach (Para Swimming) (Full-Time, Contract 22 Years)

About the role The Singapore Disability Sports Council is seeking an experienced and passionate coaching professional to join our Para Swimming high performance programme at a pivotal moment for Singapore para sport. With the Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Paralympic cycles ahead — and Singapore preparing to host the ASEAN Para Games 2029 — this role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of Singapore para swimming. Successful candidate will play a key role in sustaining Singapore's competitive edge in Para Swimming, developing high-performance athletes, and contributing to the growth of the sport at all levels. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing training plans for national team athletes; • Collaborating with coaches, sports scientists, and other support staff to optimize athlete performance; • Conducting coaching clinics and workshops for grassroots coaches and athletes; • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior coaches and athletes; • Staying up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in Para Swimming and high-performance sport. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about developing para-athletes and contributing to the growth of Singapore para sport.
