National and International Transportation Specialist - Customs Procedures (Luxury Sector)

4 U Consulting For a well-known Swiss family group, renowned internationally, we are looking for a specialist able to manage and coordinate all activities related to national and international transportation and customs procedures, ensuring compliance with current regulations, cost optimization, and timely deliveries. This person will be a reference point for the logistics team and other company functions, guaranteeing effective collaboration and constant support to colleagues.

Required skills:

• Diploma in commerce. A Swiss diploma in logistics would be a preferred title
• Previous professional experience (at least 3 years) in managing, organizing national and international land, sea, and air shipments, customs procedures, specifically in luxury goods
• Previous experience in managing relationships with carriers, couriers, and customs authorities
• Familiarity with main IT supports
• Solid knowledge of English and German (spoken and written - minimum level required B2)

  Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and monitor national and international transportation, primarily by land, sea, and air
  • Manage relationships with carriers, couriers, and customs authorities
  • Coordinate logistics activities in collaboration with the warehouse and production team
  • Monitor costs, delivery times, and supplier performance
  • Support other company departments (purchases, commercial, production) on logistical and customs matters
  • Collaborate on implementing procedures and systems for continuous improvement of logistics efficiency
