Murex Accounting Consultant

This role is with a large Australian bank using Murex for FX, Commodities trading, and as a market risk engine. The position requires a seasoned Finance Business Analyst with expertise in Murex Accounting, Pricing, Market Data, and Curve setup. The candidate will support stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, and Product Control to deliver both regulatory and business-driven change initiatives, as well as provide production support. Responsibilities: Partner with Front Office, Finance, Production, and Risk teams to deliver projects that meet business requirements and regulatory standards. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project scope, developing project plans and timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include: • Providing subject matter expertise in Murex Accounting, Pricing, Market Data, and Curve setup to support the development of new products and services. • Collaborating with Front Office teams to deliver regulatory-driven change initiatives that meet business requirements. • Working closely with Finance teams to develop and maintain financial models and reports using Murex. • Providing production support for existing systems and processes, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed. • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, and Product Control to ensure successful project delivery.
