We have an exciting opportunity for Municipal Water Project Engineer interested in joining and growing our infrastructure team. This role will specialize in municipal water and work with our fast-growing multi-disciplinary Infrastructure team on a wide variety of projects in Greater Vancouver including water and wastewater treatment, pumping, storage, conveyance and distribution.

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our downtown Vancouver, BC office.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Participate in all phases of project planning, design, construction, and commissioning of municipal water projects.
  • Be supported by technical experts from multiple disciplines in our Water group including structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and civil to successfully deliver projects.
  • Manage project resources, schedule, budget, quality management and project risk assessment on behalf of CIMA+ to meet client expectations.
  • Prepare and supervise engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents, cost estimates, and construction documents.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders and contractors.
  • Mentor other staff on fundamentals of project delivery and general project management skills.
  • Assist with proposal preparation for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Participate in site inspections for condition assessment and/or design purposes.
