1. General clerk

Duties

Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support office operations, including data entry, document management, and communication duties

Key Tasks

• Provides essential administrative support by managing office files, records and documents. Ensures that all paperwork is organized and easily accessible
• Enters data into company databases, maintains accurate records, and prepares reports, invoices and other office documents as needed
• Handles incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, directing enquiries to the appropriate departments. Also greets visitors and provides assistance as required
• Assists in scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinates with different departments to support office operations
• Maintains office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure that the office is well-stocked
• In some cases, may perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking

2. Cook

Duties

Prepares, seasons and cooks food for clients, ensuring quality, safety and presentation of dishes

Key Tasks

• Prepares ingredients for dishes, which includes washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients according to recipes
• Must know various cooking techniques such as baking, frying, grilling and steaming to prepare menu items that meet quality standards
• Follows recipes and presentation standards to ensure that meals are delicious and visually appealing. May also contribute ideas for daily specials
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace is crucial. Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring that all kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean to maintain a safe kitchen environment
• Monitors ingredient stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and help minimise food waste
• Works closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Adapts recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction
• May train and mentor other kitchen staff, sharing techniques and best practices

3. Hospitality worker

Duties

Provides excellent customer service, serves food and beverages, assists with guest queries, and maintains cleanliness of rooms and facilities

5. Retail supervisor

Duties

Supervises and coordinates the activities of retail sales workers

Key Tasks

• Makes sure that our goods from store or warehouse are received correctly and promptly by customers
• Ensures standards and procedures for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
• Handles complaints and issues and inquiries from customers regarding quality and specifications of our products
• Manages retail staff, organize working plan and time schedule for everyone, specify and assign duties on a daily basis
• Be responsible for coaching, counselling, recruiting, training and disciplining retail staff
• Identifies the current and future situations of our retailing market then helps to instruct retail staff on standard and variable sales procedures
• Inspects goods if returned by customers, reacts accordingly and properly based on contract
• Manages stock level, restores goods to sell and orders new goods to ensure inventory balance
• Prices goods on sale and manages the display shelves
• Maintains the sales procedure to ensure it meets the safety and security requirements from local laws and rules
• Performs other tasks as employer requires

6. Store person

Duties

Manages inventory, receives good, and ensures efficient warehouse operations, often requiring physical stamina and good organisational skills

• Accepts incoming goods, check for accuracy and quality, and ensures proper storage in designated area
• Maintains accurate inventory records, monitors stock levels, and assists with stock takes to ensure availability of products
• Picks and packs items for dispatch, ensuring that orders are completed accurately and on time
• Keeps the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety standards and protocols
• Works efficiently within a team to support overall warehouse operations and assists colleagues as needed
