  • Work across the Eastern suburbs + Melbourne St (Ringwood) office + WFH
  • $ 42.84ph + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

As a Multicultural Community Engagement Officer (MCEO), you will join our innovative multicultural engagement model, working collaboratively with other casual MCEOs, community partners, and a Project Lead to support a range of community engagement initiatives across Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs.

This role plays a key part in strengthening relationships with established and newly emerging multicultural communities, increasing access to services, reducing stigma, and supporting community-led approaches to wellbeing.

Reporting to the Coordinator, Multicultural Community Engagement, you will:

  • Build and foster strong relationships with multicultural community leaders, service providers, and cultural groups.
  • Coordinate and deliver outreach initiatives, workshops, and engagement activities.
  • Support community consultations and facilitate focus groups to understand community needs.
  • Assist the Project Lead in developing and delivering engagement plans tailored to each community.
  • Co-design and distribute culturally appropriate resources.
  • Promote and participate in community-focused wellbeing and education programs.
  • Provide warm referrals and help community members navigate support services.
  • Participate in case discussions, planning, and cross-team collaboration when required.

  • Be passionate about community connection, wellbeing, and reducing stigma around help-seeking.
  • Hold a relevant qualification or background in community services, social work, health promotion, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
