Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and professional Class 1 Driver Long Distance to join our transportation team at our Lévis, Quebec site, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from customer sites and other AIM facilities.
What you’re responsible for:
- Operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle to transport metal materials while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Perform routine inspections before and after truck trips, ensuring that the truck is in good working order
- Load and unload metal materials onto the truck safely, using the appropriate equipment, and secure the load to prevent movement or damage during transport, if necessary
- Complete accurate and complete delivery records and any other required documentation
- Provide quality customer service
