MRI Technologist wanted - join a growing team!
We're seeking a skilled, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join a growing imaging team in the winterless north.
Based in Kerikeri, you'll operate new state-of-the-art MRI equipment, preparing and screening patients, producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care.
Reporting to a senior MIT Technologist and working closely with radiologists, you'll run appropriate imaging sequences, monitor image quality and ensure equipment safety standards and protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols
- Patient care and comfort, ensuring diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain MRI equipment and report any technical issues
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support patient care
- Uphold safety standards, incl. MRI screening and infection control
- Document procedures and patient information accurately
Skills and Experience:
- Registration with the New Zealand MRT Board
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- At least 12 months hands-on MRI experience in New Zealand
- A strong clinical and technical foundation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
