MRI Technologist

About the Role: Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist to join a welcoming team in West Auckland. Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll operate cutting edge 3T Siemens MRI technology, running appropriate imaging sequences, monitoring image quality and ensuring equipment safety standards and protocols are followed. Supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in delivering a fast, seamless and high quality patient experience. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting MRI scans for patients with various medical conditions, including orthopedic, neurology, cardiology and other specialties. • Ensuring all imaging sequences are run correctly, images are of high quality and equipment is functioning properly. • Maintaining accurate records of patient information, scan details and any issues encountered during the scanning process. • Collaborating with radiologists, clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective communication of results. • Participating in quality control activities to maintain high standards of image quality and patient care. • Staying up-to-date with new technologies, techniques and best practices in MRI imaging.
