Warehouse Operative
Job description
In a logistics environment, the main tasks are to manage the goods entering and leaving the warehouse. Upon receiving products, their condition and quantity must be verified against the entry documents. Afterward, they are placed in assigned locations, making good use of space so they are easy to find later. Preparing orders is key: items are picked according to lists, packaged, and made ready for shipment, ensuring everything is correct and on time. Vehicle loading and unloading are also performed, using pallet trucks or forklifts and following safety regulations to prevent damage or accidents. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse is fundamental, including removing packaging and marking aisles. Inventory control is continuous: stock records are updated, counts are participated in, and discrepancies are reported. Teamwork is necessary to coordinate workflow, solve problems, and meet objectives. Attention to detail is required to minimize errors. The contract is temporary and part-time, with availability for shifts and flexible hours. Certification in load handling and workplace safety is valued.
