Motor Vehicle Technician (General)

This position is based in Ireland. A broad term often encompassing both light and commercial vehicle mechanics. Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs all types of motor vehicles. Performs scheduled maintenance, identifies and resolves mechanical/electrical issues, and ensures vehicles are roadworthy and safe. Key Duties: Inspect, test, and service vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify faults. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on a wide range of motor vehicles. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Key Requirements: Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
