Position Purpose The Motor Mechanic position exists to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance, repair, and servicing of motor vehicles. The role is critical to the overall success of the business. Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough inspections of motor vehicles to identify any defects or issues that require attention. * Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake pad replacements. * Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in motor vehicles, including engine, transmission, and suspension systems. * Perform logbook servicing and repairs on motor vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. * Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and labour hours. * Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and provide excellent customer service. Requirements * Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent experience. * Current NSW Driver's Licence. * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to lift up to 25kg and work at heights (if required). * Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
