Motor Mechanic (Full Time)

Hudson White Pty Ltd (City Discount Tyres Belmont) are currently seeking an experienced, full-time mechanic to join our team.

Skills/Qualification Required:

• Mechanical qualification (Cert III or have at least 3 years of relevant experience)

• Tyre fitting and/or wheel alignment experience is favourable

Duties Include:

• Maintaining, testing and repairs petrol engines and the mechanical parts of light vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.
• Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and components.
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts.
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups. Reassembling engines and parts after repairs.
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for the proper performance.
• Diagnosing and testing parts.
• Replacing suspension components and installing suspension lift kits.
