Motivated ERP Consultant (m/w/d) sought in Herford area!

An esteemed machine manufacturing company with around 500 employees is seeking a motivated individual to optimize and adapt their ERP landscape. The company develops and produces complex machines and systems for international customers.

In the context of digital development, the ERP landscape will be continuously optimized and adapted to business processes. For this purpose, an engaged person is sought who combines IT expertise with a deep understanding of machine manufacturing processes – and enjoys actively driving digitization and process optimization as an ERP Consultant (m/w/d).

Tasks

• Analyzing, optimizing, and reorganizing business processes in various company departments (including production, construction, material management, finance, and sales)
• Developing solution concepts independently and coordinating closely with the executive board and owner's family
• Leading projects, including coordinating implementation teams and steering external service providers
• Advising on selecting and introducing suitable ERP modules
• Supporting and mentoring users during and after implementing new processes and systems
• Creating project documentation, evaluations, and reports for the project leadership and management

Qualification

• Degree in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable qualification, preferably with technical background
• Practical experience in project and change management with strong implementation skills
• Deep understanding of business processes in various industries, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Comprehensive experience in consulting and implementing ERP systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and structured work style
