Motivated ERP Consultant (m/w/d) sought! Herford area

An esteemed machine manufacturing company with around 500 employees is seeking a motivated individual to optimize and adapt their ERP landscape. The company develops and produces complex machines and systems for international customers.

The successful candidate will have IT expertise combined with a deep understanding of processes in the machine manufacturing industry – and enjoy driving digitalization and process optimization as an ERP Consultant (m/w/d).

Tasks

• Analyzing, optimizing, and re-designing business processes across various company departments (including production, construction, material management, finance, and sales)
• Developing solution concepts independently and coordinating closely with the executive board and owner's family
• Leading projects, including coordinating implementation teams and steering external service providers
• Advising on selecting and introducing suitable ERP modules
• Supporting and mentoring users during and after implementing new processes and systems
• Creating project documentation, evaluations, and reports for the project leadership and management

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable qualification, preferably with technical background
• Practical experience in project and change management with strong implementation skills
• In-depth understanding of business processes across various industries, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Comprehensive experience in consulting and implementing ERP systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and structured work style
