Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hostel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supervising front desk and reservation staff

• Ensuring excellent customer service
• Handling complaints and feedback
• Managing housekeeping and maintenance schedules
• Ensuring standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety
• Recruiting, training, and supervising staff
• Managing payroll and performance reviews
• Budgeting and financial reporting
• Controlling expenses and overseeing invoicing
• Managing supplies and inventory
• Implementing marketing strategies
• Coordinating with booking platforms and travel agencies
• Ensuring adherence to licensing laws, health & safety, and workplace regulations
• Managing risk and emergency procedures
• Liaising with contractors for repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring security systems are functional

Skills and Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• At least 1 year of experience in accommodation or hospitality management
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven ability to lead a small team
• Proficiency in booking systems and Microsoft Office

Education Requirements:
A relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience is preferred.
