Salary - $75,000-$85,000
Albury Georgian Motel & Suites features spacious air-conditioned apartments and family suites. We are looking for a competent Motel manager to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing various crucial operations within the organization, which include reservation coordination, reception services, room service and housekeeping operations.
- Assessing customer satisfaction and complaints to consistently improve the quality of service.
- Providing support to guests by offering local tourism information and assisting in organizing tours and transportation arrangements.
- Supervising, guiding, and overseeing the daily operations of the front desk staff and housekeeping department to attain profitability, enhance guest satisfaction, and optimize efficiency.
- Ensuring adherence to company standards and guaranteeing 100% guest contentment.
- Ensuring the company's compliance with occupational health and safety regulations to promote a safe and hazard-free workplace.
- Supervising diverse facets of the facility, including security measures, maintenance, and enhancement of the overall property grounds.
- Overseeing daily motel operations to guarantee quality, uphold standards, and meet guest expectations consistently.
- Individually addressing any issues, a guest may encounter during their stay and trying to consistently deliver the highest level of service.
- Collaborating closely with the housekeeping department to ensure the optimal availability of rooms/suites and to meet all incoming guest’s requirements.
- Adhering to loss prevention policies and procedures, and taking responsibility for reporting, documenting, and communicating all accidents within the motel in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety standards.
- Exerting authoritative oversight of accounting processes and procurement initiatives.
- Reconcile daily payments to ensure that the amount collected matches the records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Skills, qualifications and Experience Required
- Strong leadership, effective communication, excellent customer service, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma
Expected salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
