Mosaic Artwork Designer

Job description

To conceptualize and innovate various wall art/ Murals, create new Mosaic designs, and prepare mosaic patterns and artworks for Clients.
Translate client briefs and brand aesthetics into scalable mosaic designs
Ensure artwork is production-ready, cost-effective, and meets quality, color, and material constraints.

Collaborate with sales, product, and production teams to interpret client briefs and project requirements.
Create original mosaic designs using hand sketching and/or computer software
Develop pattern libraries, motifs, and color palettes aligned with brand guidelines and market trends.
Prepare scalable patterns with precise color maps, tile counts, and cutting layouts for mosaic production.
Produce technical drawings, tile layouts, and mockups for client approval and production handoffs.
Manage revisions based on feedback, ensuring timely delivery within project timelines.
Maintain documentation: color codes, material specs, tile sizes, grout considerations, and production notes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, including pattern repeat, tile mosaic rules, and safety/regulatory considerations.
Conduct quality checks on digital files to minimize misprints and material waste.
Stay updated on mosaic designs and software tools.

Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, Textile/Surface Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years in mosaic design, tiling, pattern design, or a related field.
Portfolio: Demonstrated portfolio of mosaic/delicate pattern work (hand-drawn and digital) showing composition, color theory, and production feasibility.

Creative thinker with strong visual literacy and trend awareness.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and reproducibility.
Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable with cross-functional collaboration.
Time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Adaptability to evolving product lines and customer requirements.
